Roger Basu
Roger Basu is a highly accomplished scientist and entrepreneur with a strong background in materials science and chemistry. He obtained his master's and bachelor's degrees in Materials Science & Engineering and Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley. With a focus on photovoltaics, electrochemistry, and complex oxides, he has extensive experience in breakthrough basic science research.
Basu co-founded Coreshell Technologies, Inc., where he currently serves as CTO, providing cost-effective enhancements to Lithium-Ion battery technologies, and advancing them to market. Prior to that, he worked as a Device Engineer at Heliotrope Technologies, Inc. and as a Research Scientist at Solexant, where he also served as a Research Associate. Basu has also been a Graduate Student Researcher and Instructor and an Undergraduate Researcher at UC Berkeley and an Undergraduate Researcher (REU) at Rice University.
Basu's expertise in material science, electrochemistry and photovoltaics makes him a highly sought-after scientist in the field.
