Mike Roberts is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur with 32 years of experience in software development. He has held various leadership roles in top-tier companies such as Zeeto, Origin Code Academy, and San Diego Code School. Additionally, he is an advocate for tech education, especially for underrepresented groups, and sits on several boards of organizations that make a positive impact on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tech industry. Roberts has also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at UC San Diego and is currently the second president of the San Diego JavaScript Community. He is a graduate of San Diego State University and National University where he studied Business Administration and Management. His passion for helping others shortened the journey to becoming software engineers earned him recognition as the author of online training, coaching programs, and mentorships, launching over 100 student careers to date.
