Vijay Manickam is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years of experience designing and delivering complex technology, data, business intelligence (BI), and engineering applications. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a track record of driving business innovation, action, and solving mission-critical challenges. As the Vice President of Technology at OceanX, LLC, Vijay is responsible for spearheading technology strategy and vision across all products. His expertise lies in transforming organizations for maximum efficiency, profitability, competitive advantage, growth, and sustained success. Vijay’s experience spans multiple industries, including subscription, direct marketing, media, credit and payment processing, contact center management, and retail industries, which he leverages to optimize business processes and strategies.

Before joining OceanX, Vijay worked as Vice President of Data & Analytics at the same company, Sr. Director of Business Intelligence & Data Management at Guthy - Renker, Director of Data Management & BI at Trinus Corporation, and Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Lead at Fisher-Price / Mattel Inc. With his extensive cross-functional team and program leadership expertise, he has led key BI & technology initiatives for multiple companies, including NH's Department of Health and Human Services and the United Nations. Vijay has also built and unified global BI & analytics practices, positioning data as an end-to-end strategic asset for the worldwide direct-to-consumer leader.

Vijay holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from PSG College of Technology, India. He is passionate about infusing digital, engineering, and data into forward-thinking organizations' core DNA to unlock new business models, product lines, opportunities, and profits. His expertise includes enterprise technology leadership & organizational development, insight-oriented business intelligence, data analytics, engineering, cloud and competitive positioning, data management, data quality, integration, visualization, analysis, eCommerce marketing, and large-scale technology & cloud implementation.
