Hunter Flynn, a UC Santa Barbara alumnus, has been thriving in the agricultural and landscaping industries for seven years. Flynn doubled annual sales revenue every year for three consecutive years as the Farm Manager at Tequio Farm, a renowned organic mixed-vegetable farm in Northern California. With expertise in bookkeeping, financial reporting, budget management, product costing, break-even analysis, customer service, people management, and the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and QuickBooks, Flynn is a small business owner, manager, and consultant extraordinaire.

Before becoming a business owner and manager at Tequio Farm, Flynn was part of Patagonia's sales team, a farm adviser/educator at Ecology Action of the Midpeninsula, an owner at Minus the Gas Sustainable Lawn Care, a cashier's office manager at UC Santa Barbara, a children's program coordinator at The Transition House of Santa Barbara, a leadership camp director at the Santa Barbara Family YMCA, and an administrative assistant at Community Affairs Board, UCSB.

Flynn's career highlights include being awarded California's New Farm of the Year in 2016 by the CA Farmer's Guild/CAFF for his excellence and knowledge in farming. He also implemented the Lean Business Model at Tequio Farm, resulting in an impressive 80% reduction in harvest and processing time. Flynn's love for farming was further validated when he created and taught a farm financial sustainability course that was offered three times a year.
