Amy Zhong, a junior at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, is an ambitious epidemiology major with a passion for helping those with chronic and infectious diseases. With a focus on developing prevention strategies, educating public health policy, and closing health gaps within the community, Zhong has helped make a difference in the health field. As a former Contact Tracer for the IU Center for Global Health and a former Clinic Receptionist at HPW CENTER FOR DIABETES INC, she has developed expertise in crisis-counseling techniques, patient-healthcare communication, and clinical operations.
