Leann O'Rourke is an experienced educator who has worked in various roles in the Beaverton School District and as a graduate teaching assistant at Portland State University. With a background in library media, humanities, and instructional technology, O'Rourke has a diverse range of skills and expertise in education.
As a former Humanities Teacher, O'Rourke taught a variety of subjects to middle school students, including English, history, and social studies. She later transitioned to working as a Library Media Specialist/Teacher, where she was responsible for teaching information literacy skills to students and collaborating with teachers to develop research-based curricula. O'Rourke went on to become a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Portland State University, where she assisted in teaching courses on learning and technology to undergraduate students.
Currently, O'Rourke is working as a Library Instructional Technology Teacher at Beaverton School District, where she provides support to students and teachers in utilizing technology for teaching and learning. With her extensive experience in a range of educational roles, O'Rourke is well-equipped to provide valuable insights and expertise in the field of education.
