Rick Jury is a seasoned professional in the field of solution design, deployment, and management of enterprise management software. With a strong background in legacy IT operations, devops, and SRE, Rick is an expert in cloud native monitoring and analytics tools for modern applications. He holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Victoria University of Wellington.

Currently, serving as a Senior Customer Success Engineer at Sumo Logic, he was previously associated with Xero, where he held roles such as Senior Engineer - Site Reliability Engineering, Team Lead - Tools & Automation, and Senior Tools Engineer. Prior to that, he has also worked with organizations like Spark New Zealand, HP Enterprise Services, Fujitsu, and New Zealand Commerce Commission as a Technical Specialist, Technical Consultant, Enterprise Systems Management Consultant, and Systems Administrator, respectively.

Given his vast experience, Rick is a firm believer in the value and unprecedented scale of cloud-native monitoring and analytics tools, including Sumo Logic, with which he presented talks at Sumo Logic Illuminate and AWS Summit Sydney 2019.
