Ali Aaqid is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the sheet metal and stamping industry. With a focus on press transition and rigging coordination, Ali has led numerous projects in new plant start-ups and equipment installations of over 47 mechanical and servo presses. He has a strong understanding and background working with popular press brands such as Seyi, Stamtec, Niagara, Komatsu, and Blow Press, ranging from 88T to 1,320T. Additionally, Ali has experience in PDS certification and kaizen implementation. He is a former mechanical engineering intern at General Motors and renewable energy technician at Houston B-Cycle. Ali is currently a production engineer at Daikin North America with a passion for furthering his knowledge and skill set. He believes that every individual has the potential to innovate and reinvent the world when given the right opportunities.
