Vivian F. Wang is an accomplished technology investor who specializes in digital media, telecommunications, and cross-border investing. She began her career in the late 1980s, working with startups that powered satellite communications and image computing. Throughout her career, Wang has held various senior-level roles, including Senior Product Manager - Office Automation Group Worldwide at Avery Dennison and Financial Analyst at Microelectronics Technology Inc.
Wang's expertise extends to developing strategic partnerships with established hardware and emerging digital media companies such as Hewlett Packard, Canon, Microsoft, Disney Interactive, and Electronic Arts. In 2002, she became a venture analyst at Sasson Capital, which was one of the first early-stage tech funds to have a cross-border foothold into Greater China.
Throughout her professional journey, Vivian has made significant contributions in several industries, including Microelectrics, Cleantech, Healthcare, and Wireless Networks. Additionally, she has worked closely with leading global companies such as IBM Research, Lucent-Alcatel, Motorola, and Nokia - eventually acquired into Foxconn, Google and SoftBank's venture portfolio.
