Jesse Katz made a name for himself in the wine industry at a young age, earning headlines as the youngest-hired head winemaker in the U.S. in 2010. During his five-year tenure at Lancaster Estate, Jesse received 90+ scores on every wine scored by the Wine Advocate and helped the estate earn a spot on the list of Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines. Despite his success, Jesse kept pushing the envelope, earning accolades as one of Wine Enthusiast's 40 Under 40 Tastemakers in 2013 and landing on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2014. Jesse has since founded three wineries, Devil Proof Vineyards, Aperture Cellars, and Photogenic Wine Co. As a consulting winemaker, Jesse has partnered with big names in entertainment, including Von Miller, Tony Hawk, and Justin Timberlake.
