Sue Boyle

Sue Boyle is a highly trained dancer turned educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. Boyle began her dance education at an early age and soon started teaching as an apprentice while in high school. She has taught ballet, jazz, and tap to children and adults at various levels, including pre-professional. Boyle has choreographed performance pieces and taught summer dance workshops. She has also performed as a principal dancer in the studio’s company. After graduating from Boston College with a Master's degree in English, Boyle started teaching Dance to kindergarten, primary, and elementary school students at Boston Renaissance Charter Public School. During this time, she discovered the joys of teaching adults and also started teaching adult education classes at Brookline Adult & Community Education and Boston Center for Adult Education. Her love for adult education led her to open The Studio, a dance center exclusively for adults. Boyle now serves as the Owner/Director at The Studio and is passionate about helping students continue their dance education, get a full-body workout, relieve stress, and meet new people.
