Katerina Kalogeraki is an experienced photographer and educator with a passion for promoting the arts, particularly in relation to lens-based mediums. With years of experience putting together researched photography projects, and presenting works in exhibitions and books, she has an in-depth interest in using photography for reminiscence, healing, and documenting life stories. Kalogeraki has taught photography to children, young adults, disabled people, and mature adults, using photography to help people communicate and express themselves. She has curated numerous exhibitions, selecting mounting and presenting artworks, and has commercial experience in PR photography, portraiture, food photography, and event coverage.

Kalogeraki has a background in media studies, a post-graduate diploma from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Master's of Arts in Photography from the University of Westminster. She has worked as a lecturer at the University of the Arts London, and as a photography teacher at Morley College and Oxford Montessori Schools. She has also worked as a reminiscence and arts facilitator, a photography teacher for youth arts programs, and as a freelance art facilitator and teacher.

Kalogeraki values being able to use photography as a facilitator to teach both the technical and artistic side of photography, and to explore its use as a positive and rewarding activity that can enhance and promote the lives of people with different abilities. With a love of working on long-term documentary projects, Kalogeraki's skills in photography, teaching, and arts facilitation are vast and varied.
