B Prentiss

B Prentiss is a multi-talented individual with a rich and varied background in the arts, academia, and volunteer work. With a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, accompanied by minors in music and English literature, Prentiss developed a varied set of skills and interests from a young age. Following this, they earned a Master's in Ethnomusicology from Wesleyan University, focusing on American popular music and the perception of vocal styles. Later, Prentiss received a Ph.D. in Anthropology with a specific focus on social dancing and the power dynamics of gendered performances. Prentiss's research findings were compiled in their thesis titled "Latin Oxford: Dominance, Power, and Gender Roles in Dancing Salsa," available on request.

In addition to their academic achievements, Prentiss has gained experience in the professional world by serving in many different roles over the years, ranging from design manager to dance instructor and studio owner. They have also volunteered their time and expertise to worthy causes, such as in their design work, which is available for review.
