    B. Todd Jones is a legal professional with a diverse background in law enforcement, government service, and private practice. He commenced his role as Senior Vice President and Special Counsel for Conduct at the National Football League in 2015, following a notable tenure as the Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in Washington D.C. As the head of the ATF, an agency entrusted with upholding firearms and explosives laws to safeguard communities from violent offenders, Jones brought a wealth of experience to the position. Originally appointed as the Acting Director in 2011, he later became the first permanent director in seven years after Senate confirmation. Prior to his leadership at the ATF, President Barack Obama selected Jones as the United States Attorney for the District of Minnesota in 2009, a role that saw him earn acclaim as one of the first U.S. Attorneys confirmed by the Senate during that Administration's transition.
