Aziz Hasan

Co-Founder of the øther, Former Kickstarter CEO

Aziz Hasan is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of the contemporary fashion label, the øther, based in New York City. He has a diverse background in creative leadership, having previously served as the CEO of Kickstarter from March 2019 to April 2022, where he also held the position of Head of Product and Design prior to that.

His career includes significant roles such as Vice President of Product Experience and Creative Director at Refinery29, where he was responsible for the design and marketing of technology products. Additionally, he has experience in various creative and strategic roles at companies like Say Media and Eva Khurshid.

Aziz is also an illustrator and graphic designer, known for creating artworks inspired by his childhood, travels, and personal experiences. He holds a BS in Business Management from Case Western Reserve University and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2022.1
