Ayushman Dash

Ayushman Dash is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at NeuralSpace, a SaaS company specializing in Natural Language Understanding (NLU) tools for low resource languages, with a primary focus on Indian languages. He has a passion for Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Machine Learning and Deep Learning, with a mission to incorporate cutting-edge NLU research into the company's SaaS products. Ayushman's research interests span various areas including Sequence Learning, Attention-based models, Machine Reasoning, Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Sequence to Sequence Models, Siamese Network, Deep Learning for Natural Language Understanding, and Handwriting Recognition in Air. Besides AI, he also excels in software architecture, design, and test-driven development. Ayushman's recent scientific contributions include projects like Indic-Transformers, Subword Semantic Hashing, AirScript for air writing, and TAC-GAN for text to Image generation.

Ayushman's professional journey includes roles as an Applied Research Scientist at Element AI in Montreal, where he focused on integrating cutting-edge NLP research into existing products. Prior to Element AI, he worked at Insiders Technologies GmbH in Berlin, contributing to Natural Language Processing (NLP) projects and question answering systems. At Insiders, Ayushman was also involved in developing Deep Neural Network models for fraud detection. In Germany, he worked at the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in the Multimedia Opinion Mining team. Earlier, he was part of the Computer Graphics and Human Computer Interaction department at the University of Kaiserslautern, collaborating on a project with Volkswagen for GUI development in automobile parts quality assurance. In India, Ayushman worked as a software engineer at Reverie Language Technologies, gaining experience as a full stack developer in a startup environment, solving real-life problems using modern technologies. His professional journey also includes a training stint at Tata Consultancy Services Limited.
