Ayumi Moore Aoki

Ayumi Moore Aoki is a social entrepreneur and visionary leader dedicated to empowering women and girls in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) fields.12 She is the Founder and CEO of Women in Tech® Global, a global movement with a presence in 45 countries and over 200,000 members.1 Ayumi is also a Member of UNESCO's International Consultative Group of Experts for Closing the Gender Gap in Science.2

Born in Brazil to a Brazilian mother and Japanese father, Ayumi's diverse background has shaped her commitment to challenging gender and racial biases.1 She founded Women in Tech® Global in 2018, which aims to empower 5 million women and girls in STEAM by 2030.1 The organization focuses on four key areas: education, business, digital inclusion, and advocacy.1
