Ayodeji Perrin

Meet Ayodeji Perrin, a highly experienced attorney licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. With expertise in international legal issues such as international human rights law, international humanitarian law/law of armed conflict, international criminal law, and global governance institutions, Ayodeji is a highly skilled legal practitioner. Furthermore, he has written extensively on various legal topics including constitutional criminal law, national security, asylum, U.S. church-state law, Islamic law, LGBT human and civil rights, and political theory.
Before embarking on his legal career, Ayodeji spent over nine years in secondary and higher education as an administrator, counselor, teacher, coach, program director, and journal editor. Ayodeji earned his J.D. in Human Rights, Law and Religion, Political Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He also holds two master's degrees; one in Liberal Arts from St. John's College Graduate Institute and a second in Political Science from Columbia University - Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Ayodeji earned his B.A. in Political Science from Tufts University.
Before becoming an attorney, Ayodeji conducted research on issues including college completion, educational opportunity, and minority student engagement. Ayodeji has worked as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Edward C. Wright at Pennsylvania First Judicial District Court of Common Pleas, a judicial fellow to the Honorable Paula A. Patrick at Pennsylvania First Judicial District Court of Common Pleas/Penn Law Research Institute, and a summer associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Ayodeji has also served as Editor in Chief of Volume 34 at the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Esther Salas, USDJ at the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Earlier in his career, Ayodeji served as a college advisor, teacher and assistant director of multicultural affairs at Deerfield Academy and as a graduate coordinator at Columbia University.
