A.W. Armstrong

A.W. Armstrong is a highly experienced senior operational risk management professional with over 25 years of experience in various industries, including energy, chemicals, transportation, food and beverage, and general manufacturing. He has a strong focus on helping clients manage operational risks, strategically mitigating risks and liabilities, and growing businesses. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles in business operations, business development, and project management. His expertise lies in developing strategic plans, building organizational capacity, shaping and implementing processes and policies, and working with client leadership to deliver impactful solutions. Armstrong holds an MS in Geology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently the Senior Vice President/Managing Principal EHS at BSI, and his previous roles include Risk Management Consultant, Senior Principal, Principal - EHS Services, Managing Scientist, Senior Consultant, and Geologist.
