Avner Zangvil
Avner Zangvil is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur with expertise in developing innovative solutions and leading diverse teams. He completed his B.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has since co-founded and served as CTO for multiple successful startups, including Ginger Software, which was sold to Intel, and Menta Software, acquired by GraphOn Corp.
Throughout his career, Avner has actively pursued knowledge and proficiency in numerous programming languages, operating systems, and platforms. His passion for large-scale porting, customization, and extension of open-source software such as Chrome, WebKit, and Windows has enabled him to develop groundbreaking products, including a Windows application server that delivers any application's UX across the web to any device running a web browser.
Currently, Avner serves as Senior Software Engineer at Regulus Cyber, where he is leading the company's efforts to secure sensor technology from malicious attacks or accidental interference. He continues to bring his expertise in technology and product invention, development leadership, and solving complex software problems to the organization.
In addition to his professional work, Avner is also a former consultant and freelance developer for New Day Web Technologies, a former software developer at Bruce Artwick Organization, and has deep experience in resolving software issues, migrating large projects to new platforms, and developing novel consumer-facing products.
