Avik De

Avik De is a robotics expert with a profound interest in understanding the challenges that hinder robots from moving like animals. His dedication to this field is evident through his thesis research on behavioral modularity and compositional control, as well as his work on developing power-dense, proprioceptive robotic systems at Ghost Robotics. Avik's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Robotics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University. Avik has held prominent roles in various organizations, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Ghost Robotics.
