Avi Friedman

Avi Friedman is a highly accomplished professional who brings a wealth of experience in philanthropy and development. He holds a Master's Degree from the Hornstein Jewish Professional Leadership Program and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management, both at Brandeis University. Additionally, he has studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Avi serves as the Founder and Principal of Jumpstart Philanthropy, demonstrating his leadership and entrepreneurial skills in establishing this organization. Prior to this role, he held key positions such as Chief Development Officer at Hillel International, Director of Development and Institutional Advancement at National Ramah Commission, and Associate Director of Talent Recruitment at Hillel International. His diverse experience also includes serving as Assistant Director of Philanthropic Planning at the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland and as a Program Director at Hillel at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
