Avi Friedman

Avi Friedman is the Founder and Principal of Jumpstart Philanthropy, a consulting firm dedicated to empowering non-profit organizations and their leaders to achieve philanthropic goals and enhance organizational capacity.12 He is based in the Washington DC-Baltimore area and has extensive experience as a non-profit consultant, development specialist, and philanthropic advisor.2

Avi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA/MA from Brandeis University.1 He is actively involved in his community, serving on the board of Montgomery County Little League and the executive committee of Shaare Torah, his family's synagogue.1 Avi has been residing in the Washington DC area since 2006, currently living in Gaithersburg, Maryland with his wife and three children.1
