    Avi Ahuja is a second-year Master of Public Policy (MPP) student and Pearson Fellow at the Harris School of Public Policy, University of Chicago. He is also a Research Assistant at the Pearson Institute for the Study and Resolution of Global Conflicts.

    With four years of field experience in experimental development economics research in Liberia, Zambia, and India, Avi has worked across sectors like urban sanitation, education, and agriculture value chains. His research interests include the political economy of development, distributive politics, ethnic politics, and conflict, with a specific focus on sub-Saharan Africa.

    Avi Ahuja was previously recognized as a Young India Fellow and holds a bachelor's degree (with honors) in business and finance from the University of Delhi.

    In terms of education, Avi is pursuing a Master of Public Policy (MPP) with a focus on Public Policy, Political Economy, and Conflict Studies at the University of Chicago. He has also completed the Young India Fellowship in Liberal Arts and Leadership at Ashoka University and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Finance and Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce.
