Avanish Tiwari is a distinguished professional with over 28 years of experience in Renewable/Alternate Energy, Waste management, and Climate Change.

He has worked extensively in Teaching, Research, Development, Policy Planning, and Implementation, notably with organizations like the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, SPRERI, IIT Bombay, and IISc Bangalore.

Avanish Tiwari has authored numerous articles, reports, and policy documents on Renewable Energy topics such as Biomass, Biofuel, Hydrogen energy, and Clean Development Mechanism.

He has published a book on 'Food Security and Global Economy' as well as contributed to a white paper on 'Biofuel Production in India and its Implication on Food, Water, and Energy security, and a chapter on Hydrogen fuel.

Additionally, he has led several projects in the realm of Renewable Energy focusing on Biomass, Biofuel, and Hydrogen energy.

Avanish Tiwari specializes in Energy & Environment and holds a Ph.D. in Rural Development and Technology from C. S. J. M. University, Kanpur.

He has held key positions such as Director at the Centre for Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development, President at VIKALP, and several senior scientist roles at CAER, UPES.
