Autumn Furnish is a Senior Enterprise Learning Consultant at STRIVR who has dedicated her career to teaching soft skills to individuals through the use of immersive technologies. With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Linguistics, Autumn's extensive academic background has helped her become a leading expert in her field. She began her career as a Sign Language Specialist in the Tehachapi Unified School District before exploring various roles in the media industry, including being an intern journalist at The News Review and a Casting Production Assistant at CBS Television Distribution. Autumn eventually made her way back to the education sector, where she spent substantial time as a Senior Content Developer and Applied Linguist at Alelo, creating gaming and Virtual Reality experiences for the Department of Defense. Autumn is also a former Contract Instructional Designer at Team Rubicon, where she developed courses for response teams to support disaster-stricken areas around the world. Notably, she developed robotic conversational partners through a grant from The National Science Foundation and even had the opportunity to present it to the United States House of Representatives. Today, she uses her expertise in innovative technologies such as AR/VR and naturalistic learning environments to teach communication and other essential soft skills.
