Aur Beck

Aur Beck is a renewable energy enthusiast who has been off-grid for 18 years, starting his journey at the young age of 15. With a passion for environmental sustainability, he aims to establish a chain of 'Energy' & education stores focusing on products and services that reduce or eliminate carbon emissions. He strongly believes in the mantra that pollution equals waste and waste equals lost dollars, advocating for a transition to renewable energy solutions.

Having studied Energy at Solar Energy International (Sei), Aur Beck has accumulated a wealth of experience and expertise in the field. He serves as the President, chief tech/solar installer, and energy educator. Additionally, he is known for his engaging speaking style, making technical jargon accessible and interesting to a wider audience. Aur Beck has a background in solar schools, renewable education, and has served in various capacities within organizations dedicated to promoting sustainable practices.

Aur Beck's professional journey includes roles such as Journeyman Electrican at IBEW 702, Instructor at John A. Logan College, Mentor at The Climate Reality Project, Host on Your Community Spirit talk radio show at WDBX, and chief tech at Advanced Energy Solutions Group, Inc dba AES Solar. He has also contributed his skills as a Solar Installer at The Permaculture Project, Crew Chief at Greentech Solar, and Advisor Adjunct professor Curriculum designer at Hocking College. Furthermore, Aur Beck has shared his knowledge as an Instructor at Midwest Renewable Energy Association and Midwest Solar Training Network, as well as serving as a board member at Gaia House.
