Aubrey Powers

Aubrey Powers served as the Trade and Investment Manager at the Department for International Trade (DIT) from September 2017 to July 2022, where she focused on promoting trade and investment opportunities, particularly in the Washington D.C. area. Her role involved analyzing trade policies and implementing strategies to enhance economic relationships between the UK and the U.S..1

In addition to her position at DIT, Powers has a diverse professional background. She worked as a Voter Protection Regional Director for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) starting in February 2024, and previously held roles such as Legislative Analyst at the National Guard Association of the United States and Voter Protection Director for the Maine Democratic Party. Her experience also includes being a Fulbright Fellow in Turkey, which contributed to her understanding of international relations and policy-making.1

Powers holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and History from Kenyon College and has furthered her education with studies in Operational Management at the MIT Sloan School of Management. This educational background supports her analytical skills and strategic approach to trade and policy issues.1
