Aubrey Aden-Buie is a renowned documentary filmmaker and cinematographer known for his focus on social justice and equality. Aubrey is the Founder and President of Studio IX, a nonprofit organization empowering women in film by providing resources and funding for emerging filmmakers. Prior to Studio IX, he served as the Director of Glassbreaker Films, overseeing the production of numerous acclaimed short films and digital series. Aubrey's work has been recognized with awards like the Edward R. Murrow Award and has been featured on platforms like Netflix and PBS. Before his career in documentaries, Aubrey was an on-camera anchor for Sports Illustrated and a video producer for the Miami Heat, bringing his storytelling skills to sports coverage.
