Atul Mehta is a social entrepreneur and the founder of SoleCraft, a sustainable footwear brand known for creating the world's first charcoal-made shoes.12 He has a background in accounting, having studied at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.24 Before founding SoleCraft, Atul served as Managing Director at Trishala International from 2016 to 2018.4
SoleCraft was co-founded by Atul and his wife, Divya Mehta, driven by their desire to create comfortable and environmentally friendly footwear. The idea for SoleCraft originated from Atul's observation of his father's discomfort while playing squash due to inadequate footwear.
