Athena Sosangelis Lorenzo

Athena Lorenzo is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in finance, investments, and capital raising. She is the Partner at Capture Capital LLC, a boutique placement firm in New York that specializes in raising capital for venture capital and private equity funds. Athena has a strong background in private markets placement, marketing, investor relations, and corporate finance.

Prior to co-founding Capture Capital LLC, Athena held senior roles at leading financial institutions such as Citigroup, where she gained valuable experience in corporate and investment banking, asset management, and structured credit. She also has a diverse international experience, having worked in Europe for nearly a decade, managing corporate finance and consulting projects.

Athena Lorenzo's academic achievements include a BA in Economics from the College of Arts & Sciences and a BS in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She furthered her education by completing the International Management Program at the University of Oxford and earning an MBA from The Wharton School. Athena also holds Series 7 and 63 FINRA licenses, showcasing her expertise in the financial industry.
