Asima Jansveld

Asima Jansveld is a dedicated professional with a demonstrated track record in driving inclusive community development initiatives in urban areas.

With a background in M.U.P. in Environmental Planning and Policy from New York University and a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia, Asima brings a diverse skill set to her work.

In her role as Vice President of the High Line Network at Friends of the High Line, she focuses on fostering resilience, knowledge exchange, community revitalization, and public-private partnerships to create a more inclusive city.

Her previous experiences include being a Principal and Senior Project Director at HR&A Advisors, Programme Manager at the European Urban Knowledge Network, Vice President of Development at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, Assistant Vice President of Planning at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, and Senior Project Manager at ATC Associates Inc.

With a broad range of expertise in urban planning, community development, partnership building, and project management, Asima's work is instrumental in driving positive change and creating thriving, resilient communities.
