Meet Ashwin Rao, a highly skilled AI Scientist and Founder at Travellingwave. With a strong background in Electrical Engineering and Neuroscience, Ashwin has spent his career in groundbreaking research across industry-leading organizations. Formerly Head of Research at Conversay and Research Scientist at Dragon Systems (Nuance Communications), Ashwin has also worked as a Post-doctorate Researcher at Hunter College of New York (Department of Physics and Astronomy)and at AT&T Bell Labs.

Ashwin has pursued an educational path that includes a BE in Electrical Engineering from the prestigious University Of Bombay, where he honed his skills and knowledge in the field of Electrical Engineering. He completed his doctoral work in Electrical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island, specifically collaborating with Brown University Neuroscience. Later, Ashwin also completed an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
