Ashley Welde

Ashley Welde is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of We Future Cycle, a nonprofit organization that implements composting programs in schools.12 She co-founded the organization with Anna Giordano after noticing the significant amount of untouched and unopened food being discarded at her children's schools.2

Throughout her career, Ashley has been a successful market research executive, working for companies such as IBM, MasterCard, Burson-Marsteller, and various startups.3 She is known for her leadership, management skills, and ethical approach to work.5

In addition to her role at We Future Cycle, Ashley is actively involved in her community:

1. She serves on the Rye Brook and Rye Town Sustainability Committees.7
2. She is the Vice President of the Blind Brook Board of Education.17
3. She has participated in Cycle for Survival, an organization supporting rare cancer research, after her own cancer diagnosis in 2016.6
