Ashley Walker

Ashley Walker is an experienced lawyer and advocate for refugees and immigrants. She has a Doctor of Law from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, Spanish, and Women's Studies from Vanderbilt University.
Walker has worked with several organizations, including the DHS-USCIS Refugee, Asylum, and International Operations Directorate as an Asylum Officer, the DHS-ICE Office of the Principal Legal Advisor as an Assistant Chief Counsel, and RAICES as a Staff Attorney and Equal Justice Works/juctice AmeriCorps law fellow. She has also served as an Immigration Legal Advocate at Tahirih Justice Center, a Staff Attorney and In-House Pro Bono Attorney for the American Bar Association ProBAR's Immigrant Children’s Assistance Project, and a Jessup International Law Competition Coordinator for the International Law Students Association. In addition, she has worked as an Attorney at legal services provider Axiom.
Throughout her career, Walker has demonstrated a commitment to social justice and human rights. She has extensive experience working with refugees, immigrants, and at-risk youth, and has a deep understanding of immigration law and policy.
