Ashley Labosier

Ashley Labosier is a dedicated professional with a focus on strengthening local democracy. As a national writer and speaker on dialogue across difference, public engagement, and transparency, Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field. Currently, she serves as an adjunct professor at the Pepperdine School of Public Policy and holds the role of Director at the Consortium of University Public Service Organizations (CUPSO).

Her educational background includes a Master's degree in Public Policy from Pepperdine University, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Patrick Henry College, and further studies in American Politics and Foreign Policy at the Pepperdine University School of Public Policy.

Ashley Labosier's extensive professional experience includes roles such as Executive Director at the Davenport Institute for Public Engagement and Civic Leadership, Research Coordinator, and Assistant Director/Interim Executive Director at the same institute. She has also worked in the education sector as a Permanent Substitute at Keppel Union School District and as a Teacher at Elite Educational Institute.

In addition to her academic and leadership roles, Ashley has served in various capacities, including as a Research Assistant at Pepperdine University, Corporate Sales Assistant at Hyatt Worldwide Sales, Communications Specialist at the City of Lancaster, CA, and a Government Affairs Intern at Wilberforce Forum. Furthermore, she continues to contribute as a Senior Fellow of the Davenport Institute.
