Ashley Fulks is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology advocate with over 40 years of experience in programming, start-up creation, and business growth. With a passion for using technology to solve problems, he has created five corporations over the years, which has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the 0 to 1 of startups and scaling businesses. Ashley is currently residing in Kelowna, BC, with his wife and son.

Ashley graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Computer Science and Biology. He began his career as a Community Access Program Administrator for cities of Wetaskiwin and Leduc. Later, he worked as a Network Administrator at Simply Boss and IT Consultant at Computer A & O GmbH Michael Schulz.

For several years, Ashley worked as a Launch Engineer in Technical Services - Commercial Revenue Team, Plus Technical Merchant Support, and Blockchain Product Partner Manager at Shopify. He is currently serving as a Senior Blockchain Product Partner Manager at Shopify. He has powered through the blockchain and crypto payments scene for several years and has worked on projects such as Grameen Foundation, Colorado State Lottery, and Wikimedia Foundation. Ashley is an early adopter of Bitcoin since 2012 and has become an expert in Cryptocurrencies. He believes that the blockchain tech will revolutionize the financial system, asset management, stock markets, and disrupt many entrenched trust-based networks.
