Ashley Combs

Ashley Combs is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in economic development, urban planning, and historic preservation.

Ashley holds a Master of Community Planning and a Bachelor of Urban Planning from the University of Cincinnati, where she focused on Economic Development, Urban Design, and GIS.

Her educational achievements also include a Graduate Certificate in Historic Preservation from the University of Kentucky, which she completed in May 2020.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Ashley has gained practical experience through various roles, including serving as the Development Services Director, Planning Director, and City Planner at the City of Middletown, Ohio.

She has also worked as a Development Manager at CORE Resources, Inc., a Planner at Clermont County, Ohio Government, and an Urban Design Consultant at TEC Engineering, Inc.

Ashley's professional journey includes internships at the National Park Service, Anderson Township, City of Fairfield, Ohio, and City of Cincinnati.

She is a Certified Economic Developer in Ohio and a Certified Zoning Inspector by the International Code Council.

Ashley is a dedicated individual who continuously enhances her skills and knowledge, as evidenced by her completion of various courses such as Real Estate Development, Finance & Incentives, and Site Selection.

She is expected to complete additional courses in Winter 2021, including Ohio Basic Economic Development and Workforce Development.

Furthermore, Ashley has participated in the Center for Local Government Leadership Academy, where she completed programs such as Local Governments 101 and obtained a certificate in Managing Different Leadership Styles from Xavier University.

Her academic excellence is also reflected in achievements like being part of the University Graduate Scholarship program and playing for the University of Cincinnati Women's Golf Team on an Athletic Scholarship.
