Ashleigh Richelle

Ashleigh Richelle is a compassionate, self-sufficient, and responsible leader in the field of Communications and Media with a decade of experience in communication and marketing strategy, storytelling, leadership, social media, video production, public relations, customer service, project management, and graphic design.

Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts, Ashleigh advocates for creating healthy workplace cultures. With a strong emotional intelligence (EQ), she is skilled in engaging in tough conversations, welcoming feedback, and speaking up for inclusivity. In her leisure time, she enjoys activities like watching movies, stand-up comedy, cooking, yoga, and salsa dancing.

Ashleigh Richelle holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with Honors in Cinema and Media Studies along with a minor in Human Rights, graduating with a GPA of 3.61/4.00 from the University of Chicago. She also participated in a Study Abroad Program in Civilisation européenne at the University of Chicago Center in Paris, France, and completed her high school education at Santa Teresa High School.

Throughout her career, Ashleigh has held roles such as Communications Specialist at Oakland Museum of California, Communications Consultant at Ashleigh Richelle, Digital Marketing Manager at Daughters of Rosie, and Communications Manager at SMASH. She has also contributed as a Diversity & Inclusion Committee Member at the Public Relations Society of America, San Francisco (PRSASF) and held various volunteer positions, showcasing her commitment to community engagement.

Her professional journey includes experiences in diverse roles such as Alumni Ambassador and Speaker at SMASH, Homework Club Coordinator at the San Jose Public Library, Campus Project Coordinator at LinkedIn, Front Desk Clerk at Almaden Yoga, and Front Desk & Gallery Attendant at Smart Museum of Art, The University of Chicago. She has also served as the Chi Chapter Intake Coordinator at Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc., and held social media and intern roles at CBS Interactive.
