Ashlee Campbell is a passionate individual who loves people, storytelling, and problem-solving. With a background in journalism, lay ministry, and French literature, Ashlee has developed a diverse skill set that includes mentoring and coaching, goal setting and strategy, and effective communication.
Ashlee has mentored numerous volunteers, focusing on women's leadership development and empowerment. She has also created training curriculums for community group leaders and coached volunteer teams in various areas such as troubleshooting group dynamics and accessing resources.
In terms of goal setting and strategy, Ashlee excels at building systems from scratch and adapting ideas for different contexts. She initiated the volunteer-led community group program in Toronto, which now serves diverse populations and adapts to challenges like the pandemic by pivoting to online platforms and organizing assistance.
Communication is another area of strength for Ashlee, known for initiating crucial conversations, addressing failures, and advocating for marginalized groups within organizations. She recently developed an assessment tool to help directors identify systemic barriers and create anti-racism action plans.
