Ashkan Abedini, MD, MPH

Ashkan Abedini is a Family Medicine Resident and Master of Public Health candidate with a passion for healthcare. With a Doctorate degree in Medicine from the American University of Antigua and a Master's degree in Public Health from The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health, Ashkan's education has been shaped to build a successful career focusing on public health.

Ashkan has spent years immersing himself in healthcare, working as a Medical Scribe at OHSU Gastroenterology/Internal Medicine, a Process Improvement Analyst at Oregon Health & Science University, and as a Resident at Samaritan Health Services. Ashkan is also passionate about community service, volunteering with Portland Street Medicine, Bridges Collaborative Care Clinic, and David Douglas School District.

Additionally, Ashkan has had extensive research experience, and has worked as a Research Assistant Intern at Oregon Health & Science University in Vascular Surgery. Ashkan is a determined, skilled, and focused individual with a passion for healthcare and making a difference.
