Ashish Datta

Ashish Datta is a managing partner at Setfive Consulting, a Cambridge-based software agency specializing in developing B2B software and data tools.24 He co-founded the company in 2011 with his college classmate, Matt Daum.34

Born and raised in North Jersey, Ashish graduated from Tufts University in 2009 with a B.S. in Computer Science.34 Before co-founding Setfive, he held engineering roles at ArmchairGM and Wikia.4

At Setfive, Ashish and his team work with companies to build software as a service (SaaS) applications, focusing on identifying new market opportunities and scaling in the cloud.1 The company serves clients across various industries, including financial services, ad, and digital marketing.1

Outside of work, Ashish enjoys activities such as going to the gym, practicing yoga, and sipping cocktails.4 He's also interested in unique experiences like attending the Kentucky Derby and ULTRA music festival, as well as raising money for charitable causes.1

Ashish is a member of YEC (Young Entrepreneur Council) since May 2017 and has published several articles on topics such as job searching, technical interviews, and leveraging technology for business growth.1
