Ash Morgan

Ash Morgan is a former engineering leader and manager with extensive experience in the tech industry, particularly at Microsoft.1 He served as Principal Group Engineering Manager at Microsoft from May 2018 to May 2020, leading a team of 39 engineers across Silicon Valley and Delhi.1

During his tenure at Microsoft, Ash focused on delivering strong PowerPoint fundamentals and facilitating a shift towards Cloud files.1 His responsibilities included:

• Coaching and mentoring engineering managers
• Sponsoring core team initiatives for diversity, inclusion, and belonging
• Designing brown bags focused on systemic thinking and belonging
• Advocating for work sourced from a deep understanding of customers' lived experiences

Ash's career at Microsoft spanned over 22 years, during which he held various roles including Principal Engineering Manager, Principal Development Lead, and Senior Software Architect.1 He is known for his emphasis on growth mindset, self-reflection, and understanding the broader impacts of one's actions in interconnected systems.1
