Asad Mansoor

Asad Mansoor is a Software Engineer with a strong passion for building and innovating software applications. He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from McMaster University.

Asad is proficient in a variety of technologies including Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Docker, Python, Git, Bash, JavaScript, GCP, AWS, and Firebase.

His experience includes being a Senior Android Developer at CBC/Radio-Canada, Android Release Engineer at Loblaw Digital, and Software Developer at IBM. He has also interned at Sensibill Inc., PopRx Inc., and BlackBerry.

As a Hackathon enthusiast, Asad has participated in renowned events like Hack the North (2017 Winner), YHacks, UofTHacks, DeltaHacks, and GitHub Hackathon. He is also actively involved in the open-source community with contributions to projects like MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs, googlesamples/android-sunflower, and azohra/shell-linter.

Aside from his professional roles, Asad gives back to the tech community by volunteering as a Hackathon Organizer at DeltaHacks and as a Technology Mentor at Kids Learning Code.
