Arvind Bharathi is a mechanical engineer with a passion for modeling fluid and thermal engineering using 1D and 3D computation fluid dynamics. He specializes in combustion CFD modeling on gas turbine engine development using FLUENT, meshing, geometry modeling, post-processing, and programming languages such as C++, FORTRAN, shell, and MATLAB. With a focus on continuous learning, Arvind has developed multidimensional programming skills from his internship at ANSYS, which prepped him for leading projects worth €100K at Genias Graphics GmbH & CoKG.

He has cross-cultural work experience, making him a good candidate for global projects. Arvind's work at STEER Engineering exposed him to new engineering perspectives, where he set up and ran experiments using DOE and 6σ methods. His persistence and dedication paid off when he landed his dream job of working on NPI product development using CFD tools at GE.

Arvind holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli. He started as an intern at Hi-Tech Forges and NAL and has since held responsible positions such as Lead Engineer of Combustion CFD, Engineer/Technologist of Professional Band Steam Turbine Tools at GE Aviation, Tecplot Technical Consultant, Software Development Intern (twice) at ANSYS, Research Assistant, and Tutor at Penn State University, and Technical Assistant to the Chief Knowledge Officer at STEER.
