Arthur Samuels
Arthur Samuels is an accomplished educator and nonprofit leader with a diverse background in law, education, and community development. As a graduate of Harvard Law School and Teachers College, Columbia University, he brings a unique perspective to the field of education reform and equity.
His career highlights include founding and serving as Executive Director of MESA Charter High School, where he led a team of educators to provide personalized instruction and support to underserved students in New York City. Additionally, his experience includes serving as Founding College Bound Co-Coordinator and Director of College Guidance and Academic Culture at Renaissance Charter High School for Innovation, where he established a college-going culture for students from diverse backgrounds.
Samuels' commitment to equity and excellence in education is further evidenced by his work with organizations such as Legal Outreach, TEAK Fellowship, Harlem RBI, and 50CAN: The 50-State Campaign for Achievement Now, where he serves as a National Voices Fellow. Through his leadership and service, he has made a significant impact on the lives of thousands of young people, helping them reach their full potential and achieve their dreams.
