Arthur Andesya is a tech-startup leader with over 10 years of experience in various industries such as AdTech, Social Platform, FinTech, Fulfillment On-demand Services, and Business Messaging API. He is currently managing strategic partnership for WhatsApp in Indonesia, and he was the 1st hire of WhatsApp Inc. based in the country. Prior to this, he was the VP of Operations, VP Business Development, and Interim for Head of Product Marketing at GO-JEK Indonesia, a Decacorn start-up that leads hyperlocal transport, logistics, lifestyle, and payments platform in Indonesia. At GO-JEK, Arthur spearheaded the 4 pillars of Business Development for Lifestyle services, which consisted of Geographical/Regional Business Expansion, Products/Services Diversification, Strategic Partnership, and Customer Intensification/Growth strategy (Acquisition & RFM).
Before joining WhatsApp/Facebook and GO-JEK, Arthur was the VP Digital Lifestyle Division at PT Digital Artha Media, a joint venture of Bank Mandiri (IDX: BMRI), JASK, Kresna investment, and Kompas Gramedia that provides revolutionary digital payment Mandiri e-Cash. He also worked as Senior Business Development Manager at LINE Corporation and developed targeted channels to provide more engaging content to users, secured partnerships with telco players and device manufacturers to expand user penetration, and conducted Market Research to understand the Indonesia market.
Arthur has been in the Digital-Tech industry since 2010 with expertise in Growth-Hacking, Product-BD, Business Messaging, Operations Excellence, Profitability Strategy, Strategic Partnership, Digital Marketing, and Social Media Marketing. He studied Science and Science at Al-Azhar 1, Darwis Triadi School Of Photography, Bachelor of Multimedia (HONS), Creative Multimedia on Digital Media Innovation at Multimedia University, and Inixindo (IT Learning Center).
