Arteen Arabshahi's path to the tech industry was non-traditional, but it has led him to great success. Growing up as the son of Iranian immigrants, Arteen planned to become a surgeon but found his passion in entrepreneurship and technology after exploring a variety of fields, including medicine and finance. He began his tech career by cold emailing 150 people before landing his first job, and now serves as the SVP of Strategy at Route, a position that followed stints as the VP of Strategy at Route, the Vice President at WndrCo LLC, and a founding member of Fika Ventures.
With his unique background and expertise, Arteen has been chosen for the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, as well as the Business Insider 30 and Under and CSQ NextGen 10 lists. Arteen is deeply involved in supporting small businesses and his alma mater through his work on the regional board of Opportunity Fund and the Eller College National Board of Advisors, respectively. When he's not working, Arteen can often be found hiking, attending concerts, or performing at open mic poetry slams. He's also a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, equal access to opportunity, and performing arts.
