Art Jones

Art Jones is the Global Strategic Partnerships lead for Lumkani, where he focuses on building and managing relationships to support the organization's mission of reducing the impact of shack fires globally.

Previously, Art served as the Vice President Global Public Affairs for Tyco, now Johnson Controls, overseeing government affairs, advocacy initiatives, corporate social responsibility, and trade diplomacy.

In his role, he established and led a team of government affairs specialists and consultants across multiple regions and played a key role in transforming the philanthropic activities of the company through the Tyco Cares Foundation.

Art's experience also includes managing public affairs in EMEA for Tyco, as well as serving as a federal lobbyist, focusing on reputation management, legislative issues, taxation, and growth initiatives.

Before joining Tyco, Art held the position of Manager of Public Policy at Kmart Corporation, where he handled government affairs, reputation management during bankruptcy, executive compensation issues, and tax matters.
