Aroon Tan, a prominent figure in the virtual world and video game industries, has a long and impressive career dating back to when he took up his first management role at Virtual Reality Technologies in Singapore back in 1995. He has held various management and executive positions since then, including being the CEO of the MMOG developer Paraworld (APAC) from 2000 to 2001 and the CEO of Interactive Digital Dreams (IDD) from 2001. Aroon was also the Co-Founder of Magma Studios, focusing on creating innovative and challenging game concepts. Furthermore, he served as the President/Chairman/Vice-Chairman of the Games Exchange Alliance (GXA) between 2004 to 2012, which expanded the capabilities and infrastructure of Asian game developers and service providers. Aroon also has an extensive educational background, having studied Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, Design at RMIT University, and at Camberwell Grammar School. He is currently the Executive Producer at I Can Read, a specialist English language training institute.
