Arnav Mehta
Physician scientist interested in immunoncology, genomics and machine learning
Arnav Mehta is a physician scientist currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Broad Institute in Eric Lander and Nir Hacohen's labs. He is also a hematology/oncology fellow at Dana Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), where he completed his internal medicine residency in 2019 as part of the Stanbury Physician Scientist Pathway (PSP). Dr. Mehta obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 2017 and his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology and Biological Engineering from Caltech in 2015. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry and Mathematics from Duke University. His research interests span immunology, cancer biology, single-cell genomics, and mathematics, with a focus on applying these disciplines to uncover new cancer therapies.
